THE PROFESSOR RULES THE DRUM Planet, EVERYONE ELSE HAS BEEN OR IS INFLUENCED BY HIM! I have SEEN RUSH LIVE SEVERAL TIMES AND BELIEVE ME THEY VERY RARELY HAVE AN OFF NIGHT, BUT I WITNESSED ONE OF THOSE RARE OCCASIONS ONCE AND WHILE ALEX WAS BREAKING STRINGS AND PLAYING OUT OF TUNE AND GEDDY WAS SINGING OUT, OFF TUNE, NEIL HELD IT ALL TOGETHER AND NEVER MISSED A BEAT!
Neil peart is most undoubtedly the worlds conquer drummer. Together with his amazing solos that may last up to 15 minutes that he deserves at least first Location
Neil Peart blows everybody from the water over him. Listen to ANY of Rush’s songs and inform me &drummers are far better than him. They AREN’T.

Where is Keith Moon as good? Do you folks understand what drumming is? It’s not just ridiculous thrashing about on a kit in a brain-numbing pace. You need to discover a rhythm and maintain its speed whilst sounding unique. With this guy none of these guys would be on that list! You suckI give up on music!
Really? Number 8? Bonham should be a good deal closer to number one after all that he was the drummer for Led Zeppelin, the greatest rock group of all time! Yes that’s right” greatest rock group ever”
3. Keith Moon
Keith John Moon was an English drummer for the rock group the Who.
He was known for his distinctive style and his frequently self-destructive behavior.
Ohh! How disappointing! He is greater than a lot of the”drummers” before him. Have you ever listened to drums solos as”Cobwebs and Strange”, “Won’t get cheated” or”Young Man’s Blues”, or even the strong beat of”My Generation”, “Baba O’Riley” or”I Can See for Miles”? I’ve, and I will tell you something: He is the BEST!
This is John Bonham and Neil Peart you are speaking about.
Keith Moon as #16, now come with this is a joke! John Bonham, Keith Moon in no specific order, that’s the top 3. Keith Moon being my favorite although as he was an awesome personality, a madman. Keith though followed swift and frequently blew (literally! ) That’s angry if anything. And of course his custom of blowing up resort toilets. Who they have been pretty much first with everything, there’s not a hint any group can do that not do. Young voters of this list, do some research. Proceed up Keith Moon on Youtube, see and feel the magic. Who, out-punking punk was devised.
Keith was among the best rock drummers, but smashing drums and blowing up toilets do not add to skill level
