Fans of romantic and sensual films, such as Fifty Shades of Grey, Call Me By Your Name, and more titles like this, should appreciate Netflix’s 365 Days.
In June of 2020, the world was shocked when 365 Days or 365 DNi first aired on Netflix. A romantic and erotic film that spent several days in the top 10 of Netflix’s top titles, 365 Days delighted audiences.
The sex sequences in Gaspar Noe’sLove, which had its world premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, also garnered attention. With its explicit sexual content, Love is a tale of sadness and loss, despite its sexual content. Fans praised Noe’s work, even though some criticized it as being underdeveloped.
Poetically speaking, Love can be considered as a take on the romantic subgenre because of the way it tells its story in flashbacks.
Nymphomaniac – Stream on Prime Video
When Nymphomaniac came out in 2013, its movie poster and a few of its sequences raised eyebrows. Joe, a self-described nymphomaniac, is the subject of this two-part “erotic art film.” When sex, love, and relationships are intertwined with emotional trauma and past addictions, problems occur.
In other words, Nymphomaniac is a movie that you should not only see; you should participate in the discussion that follows. Shia LaBeouf, Stellan Skarsgard, and Uma Thurman star in the film, which also features English/French singer Charlotte Gainsbourg as the title character.
After – Stream on Netflix
Erotically-charged films like After are best avoided at all costs. A One Direction fanfiction, After has been dubbed “Fifty Shades of Grey for teenagers” because of its sexual content and themes.
Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) are two rookies in the key roles, and the tale revolves around their collegiate romance (Fiennes Tiffin).
Tessa’s beliefs about herself and the decisions she will make in the future have been shaken by her encounter with the enigmatic Hardin. After is a typical but enjoyable exploration of hot young love, filled with steamy scenes.
Basic Instinct – Stream on Prime Video
When discussing the erotic subgenre, it’s impossible to overlook Sharon Stone’s breakout performance in this film. A homicide detective named Nick Curran falls connected with crime author and suspect Catherine Tramell (Stone) in Basic Instinct (Michael Douglas).
All of these scenes revolve around Catherine’s sexuality and the way she uses it to get her way. Basic Instinct, like many other sexual films, was met with skepticism at its initial release, but it has now established itself as a fan favorite.
Below Her Mouth – Stream on Prime Video
Below Her Mouth is the story of two women in a passionate relationship shown in the Canadian film. Jasmine, a Toronto-based fashion editor, lives with her fiance Rile, whom she appears content with but yet unsure about. Jasmine and her pals go out for drinks, and Dallas, a confident and attractive woman who works for Jasmine’s neighbors, introduces herself.
The two have an instant connection and start a whirlwind romance. While the film’s premise can be a bit jarring, the sensual thrill it provides is undeniable.
The scene in 365 Days where Laura is chained to the bed might go horribly wrong, and now the performers would be older. Gerald’s Game is a lot like that. During a game of kinky, a lady accidentally kills her husband. She is then chained to her bed with little prospect of escape. Suddenly, she’s hearing voices and seeing bizarre images, and things get out of hand very fast.
When it comes to “hookup culture,” it’s all about two individuals getting together for the first time. Instead of settling down and being committed to one another out of a sense of duty, they initially experiment with being more open in their relationship. There is a good deal of explicit material.
Spanish film Amar depicts the quest of two attractive young people to discover their true selves on and off the screen. Laura and Carlos fall in love, but the intensity of their feelings may be too much for them to bear. Young Laura and Carlos experience the passion and fragility of first love, as actual realities progressively tarnish their idealised conceptions of romance.”
Below Her Mouth
When an engaged fashion editor meets another lady on a night out, she begins an affair with her. They begin a passionate connection and fall in love.
Lie with Me (2005)
A liberated, seductive and hungry lady is Leila. Her “hunger” has been unmet by a slew of guys. But one fateful day, she meets David. He is a talented artist that produces stunning works of art. Leila would be proud of him in bed since he is forceful and voracious.
They seem like they were meant to be together. There is a physical and emotional reaction every time they meet. As their friendship deepens, it’s impossible to predict where it will go.
Friends with Benefits (2011)
“Friends with Benefits” is comparable to “Better Than Sex” in tone and content. It is true that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had a child together. I’m amazed that they’re both in these flicks.
In spite of its star power, I don’t think 365 Days of Summer is one of the most similar movies to Justin Timberlake’s humor.
